Seeing their faces light up when I told them that the books and bookmarks were donated especially for them was priceless. They were so excited and couldn't wait to start reading!\r\n\r\nSome of the donated books are part of series we already had in our classroom library, allowing students to continue reading stories they already love. Other books introduced them to brand-new series, and it has been so much fun watching them begin these new adventures and listening to them talk about how good the books are. Seeing their excitement and enthusiasm for reading reminds me why having a variety of books available is so important.\r\n\r\nI try every year to add new books to our classroom library, but purchasing them all on my own can become expensive. Thanks to your generosity, my students now have even more opportunities to explore new stories, discover new favorite characters, and develop a lifelong love of reading.
