The tent and bean bag are a great addition to our classroom and support our student's learning and regulation.\r\n\r\nThe tent is utilized for students to take breaks, read, and have a quiet space outside of their general education classroom. Students can come to the tent and close the tent flaps to have a quiet and relaxing break with the weighted bear to regulate their emotions in a personalized space. Students enjoy having the weighted bear to squeeze, lay on them, and even put on their shoulders to support their sensory needs. The tent also provides time for students to socialize and practice parallel play skills with peers that may not be in their classroom. The tent has provided so much joy and happiness to my students.\r\n\r\nThe bean bag has primarily been utilized with our sensory station where students can use a fidget tool or look at the lava lamp to regulate their emotions. At times, students will read a book or complete independent work in the bean bag as they identify it as their best learning space. Students have utilized the bean bag to help their skills grow and develop. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for all of your donations to our classroom.
