Our 8th-grade Math classes offer students video recordings of our daily lessons. These videos are posted on our Google Classroom sites. They are used to help students who are absent to get caught up. Students also use the videos as an extra resource for studying and reviewing taught content.\r\n\r\nStudents appreciate the ability to use this technology in the classroom. It allows them to focus on the lessons without distractions. This technology also helps students who are ahead to keep moving forward on their learning by watching the next lesson, while other students can receive direct instruction content that they have not yet grasped.\r\n\r\nWe have students who do not speak English and can now watch the videos translated into their spoken language. This helps them to understand the content as it is being taught.
