Learning to read music and play recorders are our segue to preparing for band. \r\n\r\nYou've made a significant difference in their young lives. This year every child had their very own recorder thanks to your generosity! In the past some students had to sanitize others' recorders. I wish you could have witnessed the astonished faces when I explained that the children did not have to return their recorders as a generous donor made that possible.\r\n\r\nWe played the recorders for our community Christmas concert and received many positive accolades! The middle/high school music teacher shared his pleasure with the students' achievements, too. The children were so proud of themselves.\r\n\r\nWe even had some children request extra time to practice with their recorders that are willing to come on their \"gap\" time before the busses arrive! Thank you for spreading equity and the love of music.
