I have been using the timer and stickers in every lesson and it has been going well. Children love watching to see how much time we have left and are now conscious that wasting time on behavior takes away from fun lessons. The stickers are fun and easy to have children quickly select when I call their name because they have been excellent role models and or really participated and out did themselves in a lesson. This also helps the other children rise up higher and participate more so they can get one as well.\r\n\r\nThe musical pencils, bracelets, squishy balls etc are being used as a class reward. Once the class earns 30 points they all can earn a prize. They can see how each class is doing as well as their own by looking at the incentive sheet which shows the checks toward 30. The children are very excited to earn their points each week. In the end more time is spent on lessons, learning and having happy excited children that benefit from it all.
