Because of your support, our classroom has been transformed in such a meaningful way.\r\n\r\nOur children absolutely love their new water table! One of their favorite activities so far has been washing baby doll clothes in soapy water and then carefully using their fine motor skills to hang each item on a clothesline. It has been wonderful to watch them take such pride in their work while also building important developmental skills through play.\r\n\r\nOne of the most impactful features of the water table is the space it provides for shared experiences. Up to six children can comfortably play together at once, which has led to rich social interactions, teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving that simply wouldn't have been possible before. We are seeing children communicate, negotiate, and create together in ways that continue to amaze us.\r\n\r\nRight now, the children are especially interested in bubbles. They have been experimenting with a variety of differently shaped bubble wands, eagerly testing their ideas and making observations. We are excited to see how their thinking develops as they begin to form theories about why bubbles always appear round, no matter the shape of the wand they use.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My teaching assistant and I had honestly begun to think that our project might not be funded as the deadline approached, so when we saw that it was, we couldn't help but cheer! Your generosity has brought so much joy, learning, and connection into our classroom, and we are deeply appreciative.","fullyFundedDate":1769019924316,"projectUrl":"project/replace-our-broken-water-table-for-senso/9764167/","projectTitle":"Replace Our Broken Water Table for Sensory Play","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Jesse","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10056243_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1749851900587","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10056243"},{"teacherId":10415004,"projectId":10048453,"letterContent":"We were able to transform an unused office space into an indoor activity area for children to use when they can't go outside or anytime the space is needed. Incorporating all the donated items and materials we already had we were able to design a space with both hands-on activity areas, gross motor areas and larger activities like the life-sized connect four. \r\n\r\nOur students have loved all the vinyl hopscotch stickers. They have made use of the magnetic maze and are constantly building and creating new cities on the activity table. One of the favorite item we got that the children have loved has been the life-sized connect four. Many children have been interested in actually learning how to play as well as using the board and rings for all different kinds of other games and activities.\r\n\r\nThe space has been such a great experience to help put together and see the kids use. The resin insects have been a foundation of our Reggio-inspired classroom's current insect study, with our children making new observations with them daily — their new magnifying glasses in tow. The Snap-Dinos and the Lakeshore Peg Boards have also become mainstays at our Math Center, due to their immense popularity with the children, and the sorting bowls have already been an incredible versatile component at not only Math Center, but sand and water table, as well (right now, they are currently being used for sorting colored alphabet letters for \"alphabet soup\" at the water table). \r\n\r\nYour kindness made this possible. We are incredibly grateful for your support in helping our young learners grow as readers, and as citizens.\r\nReading in our classroom is an interactive and collaborative experience. We gather together for read-alouds, and also use books during our \"quiet time\", where our children engage in a calming activity before nap time (while also simultaneously providing essential literacy and print exposure). Thanks to your donation, our classroom library is now more inclusive and representative of the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of our students.\r\nPerhaps most importantly, these bilingual books empower our multilingual learners by allowing them to see themselves in the stories they read—building confidence, identity, and a love for literacy.\r\nThank you again for believing in our readers and helping to make our classroom a place where all languages and learners are valued.","fullyFundedDate":1750603352894,"projectUrl":"project/bilingual-books-for-bright-futures/9413741/","projectTitle":"Bilingual Books for Bright Futures","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Jesse","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10056243_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1749851900587","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10056243"},{"teacherId":10056243,"projectId":9413677,"letterContent":"On behalf of our entire classroom community, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of circle spots and cushions.
