The kids are looking forward to using them once we are able to put them down on the floor. We are waiting for some nicer weather so that they don't get ruined with all the salt and snow getting brought into the building. The plan is to put them down in the Gym hallway, indoor recess space and at the end of the hallways. They are so cute and I know the kids will love them. They are bright and colorful and will be sure to engage them. It will be nice to have some break opportunities to offer the kids outside of the classroom. They are going to provide endless fun to those that need a sensory break, or just a break out of the classroom to regulate themselves. Thank you so much for providing our students with a wonderful opportunity to engage in some sensory seeking fun!","fullyFundedDate":1733222014468,"projectUrl":"project/seeking-fun-walking-paths-for-our-senso/8907472/","projectTitle":"Seeking Fun Walking Paths for Our Sensory Seekers!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hewes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3650615_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1505201043896","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3650615"},{"teacherId":4938274,"projectId":8556059,"letterContent":"I can't thank you enough for the wonderful board books I was able to add to my classroom. We have to purchase most of our materials and it can become very challenging at times. I am very grateful for the verY generous donation. \r\nI am able to use the themed board books to introduce book handling skills. The students can independently hold the books and turn the pages. The colorful pictures gain their interest and attention. They enjoy using the books to practice both letters and numbers during small group. Most of all, its important for our student to enjoy books that are appropriate for them and for that I am very thankful to you for giving them to joy of books.","fullyFundedDate":1727989350488,"projectUrl":"project/books-for-learning/8556059/","projectTitle":"Books for Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Coonan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4938274"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_63984","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":547,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":13,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":23,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":41,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"13.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":73.1,"schoolId":63984,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Gates Lane School of International Study on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Gates Lane School of International Study","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/worcester-public-schools/gates-lane-school-of-int-l-study/63984"}
