Since starting Happy numbers in September I have seen such growth in their math skills. We utilize Happy Numbers every day. The students have an intervention block each morning, when I get a chance to meet with students, a few at a time, to work on building skills most difficult for them. While I meet with students, others need something both useful and engaging. Enter Happy Numbers. The students are able to log into their chrome books to work on math skills at their own level. Some students work on building first grade skills like place value. Some work on second grade skills like addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers. Others reinforce the third grade skills we are learning in class. While others are pushed ahead learning fourth grade skills like two-digit multiplication. The beauty is that students ready to move on in the curriculum don't need to wait for me to be able to do it. Students who are behind can work on skills targeted to their needs even if I am not able to help at that time. The program learns what they need and teaches it in a concrete way automatically correcting students so that they don't make the same mistake over and over. \r\n\r\nWhen I learned the district would not be able to provide this program for my students I worried about how I could best serve them as only one teacher with 25 students and 25 different needs. You jumped right in and saved the day. I am so very grateful. I am excited to see the growth this brings in my students as the year continues.","fullyFundedDate":1756766594186,"projectUrl":"project/happy-numbers-happy-students/9475107/","projectTitle":"Happy Numbers, Happy Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Penney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5664392_orig.jpg?crop=288,288,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752780313591","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5664392"},{"teacherId":5481257,"projectId":9698583,"letterContent":"My friends...Thank you for stepping up so quickly when I needed you!
