Many of my English Learners develop language skills best when they can see, touch, build, and experiment. The materials you provided allow students to learn complex science and engineering concepts through hands-on experiences while simultaneously building academic vocabulary, speaking skills, collaboration skills, and confidence. Students who may struggle to express their ideas in English are now able to demonstrate their understanding through investigations, models, and engineering challenges.\r\nBecause of the wide variety of materials provided we have been able to accomplish so much in our teaching students have explored human anatomy, using detailed torso, models investigated chemistry through invisible ink, and chromatography forensics Kit examined DNA and genetics launched bottled rockets built, solar powered Mars Rovers designed race cars in many more.\r\nA special thanks to General Motors for helping make this project possible your generous support insured that every item on our wish list could become a reality for our students because of your investment our English learners now have access to high-quality experiences that inquire curiosity and creativity the excitement on their faces as they build test discover and explore is a direct result of your kindness.
