We have been able to make amazing music, play games, learn about the instrument families, and continue growing our music community all on this beautiful new rug.\r\n\r\nWe have used the staff to label note names. We have used the symbols around the rug to help us recognize and read the music map of songs. We have even had fun using those symbols to play a modified version of Spot It. Fifth grade students have played ukulele in their own zones while fourth grade has spread out as we learn about many careers in music.\r\n\r\nIt is because of your generosity and support that we have had a safe classroom and comfortable area that we can designate as our own, whether working as a full ensemble or as individuals.
