Your donation made such a meaningful difference in our classroom, and we are incredibly grateful for your kindness and generosity.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the wobble seats arrived, my students were so excited to see a new flexible seating option in our classroom. As any first-grade teacher knows, six- and seven-year-olds have lots of energy and are not always meant to sit completely still while they learn! These wobble seats gave my students the opportunity to move their bodies while still remaining focused and engaged in their learning.\r\n\r\nWe used the wobble seats daily, especially during our small-group instruction. Small groups are such an important part of our day because they allow me to provide students with more individualized instruction and support. Whether we were practicing phonics skills, reading together, working on math concepts, or completing another small-group activity, the wobble seats quickly became a favorite seating choice. My students loved having the opportunity to choose a seat that helped them feel comfortable and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nFlexible seating is about so much more than simply giving students a fun place to sit. Young children have different sensory and movement needs, and providing seating choices allows them to begin recognizing what helps their own bodies learn best. For some of my students, being able to gently move while working helped them stay at the table longer, maintain their attention, and participate more successfully in our lessons. Instead of asking busy first-grade bodies to stop moving, the wobble seats gave them an appropriate way to incorporate movement into their learning.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite parts of introducing new materials into our classroom is seeing the students' excitement and sense of ownership. Your generosity helped make our classroom an even more welcoming, engaging, and student-centered place to learn.\r\n\r\nThis project has also inspired me to continue expanding the flexible seating choices available to my students. In the future, I hope to add additional types of seating so that even more children can find an option that works well for their individual learning needs. The wobble seats were a wonderful step toward creating a classroom environment that recognizes that every child learns a little differently.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in my students and our classroom. Your generosity was appreciated every single day as these seats were used by eager, energetic first graders who were learning, growing, and doing their very best. We are so thankful that you chose to support our project and help give my students a classroom environment designed with their needs in mind.\r\n\r\nYour support truly made a difference in our classroom.
