My students are very used to having repurposed items in our classroom. They were super thrilled to have something brand new and modern. We often move furniture around in our room for various activities, and what we have is bulky and a bit delicate due to its age. This table makes things so much easier. It is lighter and sturdy. No one minds having to move that one!\r\n\r\nThe table has also expanded the amount of seats that we have together. With this being a mixed grade classroom, there are times that we have to separate grades. We used to have to move tables to have enough space for the larger group. This table now allows us to start lessons up faster and more efficiently use our space. It's also perfect for any science experiments we do in here due to it's construction. Spills are no problem and nothing stains it. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your support and for helping our students in our small rural school have the necessary things that assist them in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1758565682434,"projectUrl":"project/help-give-our-rural-school-classroom-a-f/9736713/","projectTitle":"Help Give Our Rural School Classroom a Facelift!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mills","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5872565_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758379129876","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5872565"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_60297","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":48,"numTeachers":7,"percentFrplEligible":35,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":84,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"6.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":90.0,"schoolId":60297,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Hancock Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Hancock Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/supervisory-union-70/hancock-elementary-school/60297"}
