The flexible seating chairs on the rug and wobble cushions have already made a big difference during our small group math intervention time. Students are more comfortable and engaged while working on math skills.\r\n\r\nProviding different seating options also gives students choice in how they learn best. The rug seats have been especially helpful during small group instruction on the rug. They help students stay in their own learning space while still feeling comfortable. \r\nThe wobble cushions have also been a great support for student focus. Many students benefit from being able to move a little while learning, and the cushions help them stay attentive during lessons. Thank you for making our classroom a more comfortable and engaging place for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1771016324290,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-for-math-success/9956783/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating for Math Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kalluri","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5726536_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1703250350581","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5726536"},{"teacherId":10467102,"projectId":10162765,"letterContent":"Our classroom has truly transformed with these new supplies, and the impact has been immediate and meaningful. Keeping a tidy art room has always been part of our routine, but having reliable wipes available after painting and clay projects has made a huge difference. Students take even more pride in their cleanup process now—they know they have the tools to leave the space better than they found it, and they rise to that expectation.\r\n\r\nOne memorable moment came during a recent clay project. As students finished sculpting, they naturally transitioned into cleanup mode without reminders. They worked together to wipe tables, organize tools, and reset the room. It felt less like a chore and more like part of the creative process. Watching them take ownership of their space showed just how much they value both the materials and the environment we share.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new supplies, their reactions were full of excitement and curiosity. They immediately noticed the difference—everything felt more \"official,\" like a real artist's studio. That sense of pride translated into how carefully they used and maintained the materials.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're continuing our exploration of mixed media, combining painting and clay techniques into more complex projects. Students will soon begin a collaborative piece where they'll create individual components that come together into a larger installation. Alongside developing their artistic skills, they'll keep practicing responsibility and care for our classroom space.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving our students not just materials, but the opportunity to grow as artists and as a thoughtful, respectful community.","fullyFundedDate":1774488911216,"projectUrl":"project/take-ownership-of-a-tidy-art-room/10162765/","projectTitle":"Take Ownership of a Tidy Art Room","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rogers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10467102_orig.png?crop=1500,1500,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1773941323635","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10467102"},{"teacherId":7349570,"projectId":6423294,"letterContent":"Thank so you much for your constant support of my projects. Students and I have noticed that the volume level in our classroom is reduced due to the sound absorbers. It makes it easier to hear each other in whole-class discussions, as well as reduces the overall noise level in small group work. It is a huge help in trying to get all of us listening to each other. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, the sound absorbers have made a great opportunity to connect with what they already know about sound waves. We have talked about why they are shaped the way they are, why they are soft, and why we put them at the height we did. Not only are they helping us hear each other, but they are also helping us learn more about science!
