It will be especially helpful for students who benefit from movement and sensory input to help them feel calm and in control.\r\n\r\nAlthough students have not used the sensory path yet, they have been so excited hearing about it! When we talk about having a special space to jump, move, and follow a path, their faces light up. They are especially eager for a fun and active way to take breaks during the school day.\r\n\r\nNext year, we will introduce the sensory path as part of our social-emotional learning and classroom routines. Students will learn how to use it safely and purposefully as a tool for self-regulation.
