I shared this birdhouse project with my first-grade teammates and students. The students worked together and assembled these birdhouses on their own. They were so proud; it was amazing to watch their minds work, to figure out how to connect the pieces. This was done with minimal teacher help. I enjoyed watching the students help each other; seeing different students shine during this hands-on project was incredible! After assembling them, they painted the birdhouses in art class. They came out awesome. This will be a tradition every year to culminate our bird unit. This was made possible by your generous donations.
