This project will provide the LEAP students with exciting materials will help they engage to learn and connect! We are looking to enrich our curriculum with hands on learning materials that promote motivation and reinforcement. Our students struggle with effectively communicating their wants, needs and ideas to their peers and adults around them. By providing materials that can strengthen this skills, we can help our student’s communication skills. A large majority of our students use speech generated devices/ technology to communicate as their voices. Using materials to target their skills can teach them how become active participants. With your help we can help provide learning that targets social-emotional and language development.
