When the Chompsaws first arrived, my students were so excited to dive in and use them! We first went over safety and then they were ready to explore. It did not take them long to become pros at using all of the features the Chompsaw has to offer, like cutting perfect circles or precisely measured angles. My students feel like they are using power tools, giving them a sense of responsibility and maturity. \r\n\r\nA truly memorable project was our 6th Grade Assistive Device Challenge. Students used the Chompsaws to precisely cut the components for devices designed to help people with mobility limitations—things like custom grabbers, elevated reading stands, and adapted game controllers. Before your donation, cutting materials was slow and imprecise, limiting their designs. With the Chompsaws, the students could quickly and safely execute complex angles and shapes.\r\n\r\nOur second major success story came from the 7th Grade Egg Car Project, which focuses on engineering crash protection and energy absorption. Students were challenged to build a car designed to withstand a collision after traveling down a ramp, protecting the raw egg inside. The Chompsaws were such a great addition to this project as well. They allowed my students to cut precise measurements and angles to create the perfect frames for their cars. Previously, manually cut frames often resulted in wobbly structures and uneven weight distribution, leading to unreliable testing data. The Chompsaws allowed my students to focus more on the build instead of getting frustrated with tools that didn't work. \r\n\r\nI know that I will be using these Chompsaw for years to come during many different projects in my STEM class. Students are playing with better equipment, maintaining their instruments more effectively, and engaging more actively in learning through the new whiteboards and improved percussion resources. You have strengthened not only their musicianship, but also their sense of pride, belonging, and motivation.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your belief in our program and in the young musicians of North Attleboro. Your support helps turn abstract ideas into something students can touch, explore, and understand.\r\n\r\nThe materials you helped provide are essential for offering targeted intervention to students who struggle with foundational concepts. We've used manipulatives to strengthen skills in adding and multiplying whole numbers, adding decimals with base-ten blocks, dividing fractions with fraction bars, estimating square roots with centimeter cubes, and simplifying expressions using algebra tiles. These tools give students access points that meet them right where they are.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, we've seen countless \"aha!\" moments—students proudly sharing, \"Oh! Many of my students have long school days and appreciate having something to keep them focused and energized, especially during afternoon lessons.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, we're diving into our current unit with confidence. Students are using the materials daily during problem-solving stations and collaborative activities. Our next steps include tackling a multi-day project where students will apply the Pythagorean Theorem in real-world scenarios, and the flexible seating and fresh supplies will make these activities smoother and more engaging.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has created a positive, organized, and welcoming learning environment. The office supplies we received—though simple on the surface—are essential tools that support both the day-to-day operations and the creative growth of our students.\r\n\r\nThe new scanner has already made a big difference in how we distribute materials. We use it to scan sheet music and share it digitally with students, making it easier for them to access, practice, and stay organized. This is especially helpful for students who need extra time outside of class or who learn better with digital resources. Many donors may not realize how much technology like a scanner can streamline instruction and improve accessibility—but in a music classroom, it's a game changer.\r\n\r\nThe colored pencils, scissors, and glue are being used in our interdisciplinary projects where music and art intersect. Whether students are designing musical timelines, creating visual representations of sound, or making music-themed art pieces, these supplies allow them to explore their creativity while deepening their understanding of musical concepts. It's amazing to see how excited they get when hands-on learning is part of the experience.\r\n\r\nEven the most basic items—like pens and staple removers—are in constant use. They may seem minor, but they help keep everything organized, efficient, and functioning well behind the scenes.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have already commented on how much more \"professional\" and efficient our classroom feels now. Getting the Turing Tumbles has been an amazing addition to my STEM class. \r\n\r\nThe Turing Tumble sets allowed me to completely revolutionize how I approach differentiation. To ensure every student could move at their ideal speed, I created video lessons that guided them through the initial challenges, freeing up my time to assist individuals. This structure empowered students to progress as far as their curiosity would take them. The enthusiasm was incredible: students continually asked about using the sets, and many even chose to come in during study periods to go further and design their own complex programs. Thanks to your generous support, our Physical Education program now has a large digital clock and digital message board that have made an immediate and meaningful impact on both students and staff.\r\n\r\nBefore this project, communication in the locker room was limited. Students often relied on verbal reminders or last-minute announcements to know whether class would be held inside or outdoors, when assessments were scheduled, or when they needed specific gear. The new digital message board has solved that problem. It now displays daily updates, schedule changes, and important reminders as students enter and exit the locker room. This has helped create a smoother, more organized transition from the locker room to class. Students arrive prepared and informed, and I spend less instructional time repeating announcements.\r\n\r\nThe digital clock has also improved our efficiency. Students are now more aware of time expectations during class transitions and warm-ups. It reinforces accountability, time management, and responsibility—skills that carry well beyond the gym.\r\n\r\nThis project has made our environment more professional, structured, and student-centered. It has also increased student engagement and reduced confusion during busy periods.
