The mini fans you provided have already made a noticeable difference in our learning environment. Our building gets extremely hot (even in the winter as our heating system is a bit overzealous), and before the fans arrived, it was challenging for students to stay focused during problem‑solving and collaborative work. Now, with the fans circulating cool air, students are more comfortable, alert, and ready to engage in math each day.\r\n\r\nTheir reaction when the fans first arrived was priceless. Several students cheered and a few immediately offered to help set them up and help label them with our room number. They were genuinely excited, not just because the fans were new, but because they understood that someone cared enough about their learning to make our classroom more comfortable.\r\n\r\nWith a cooler, calmer classroom, students are better able to concentrate and push their thinking further.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting my students. Your generosity didn't just bring comfort — it brought focus, energy, and a better learning environment for every young mathematician in our room.","fullyFundedDate":1757423305626,"projectUrl":"project/keep-students-cool-so-they-can-focus-on/9395787/","projectTitle":"Keep Students Cool So They Can Focus on Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sanderson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10048442_orig.png?crop=518,518,x0,y58&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1749053045656","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10048442"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_61681","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1195,"numTeachers":139,"percentFrplEligible":43,"percentAsian":9,"percentBlack":14,"percentWhite":54,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":15,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"8.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":74.0,"schoolId":61681,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Medford High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Medford High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/medford-public-schools/medford-high-school/61681"}
