Our CoZy Corner has made a noticeable difference. Since adding the beanbag chairs and games, students have become noticeably calmer during advisory and transition times; the soft seating and relaxed atmosphere give them a quiet place to reset, which reduces restlessness and helps them approach class with a steadier mindset. That calm carries over into lessons, especially on long or rigorous days, so the whole class benefits from fewer disruptions and a more peaceful learning environment.\r\n\r\nEqually important, students are more focused when they return to work. Having a comfortable, student-centered space where they can recharge, play a quick game, chat with a peer, or simply sit quietly which helps them regulate emotions and sharpen attention. As a result, participation and quality of work have improved: students complete tasks more thoughtfully and remain engaged for longer stretches.
