In fact, they were able to quiz one another on the parts of the brain using the project-funded materials prior to our unit exam. Additionally, the psychology students also benefitted from the spinning wheel as it help teach them about statistics they would need to understand in order to analyze scientific studies.\r\n\r\nThe students in U.S. History benefitted from the fundraiser because they were able to see posters of individuals that reflect their own identity being celebrated in the classroom. They were also able to visualize the settlement and expansion of the U.S. on the wonderful color map that was provided via the fundraising. We have supplied a varsity team with rackets, grips, and good quality hoppers that they can use during practice. Additionally, we have inspired a rather large 15-person JV team of players that are all brand new to tennis. With the equipment we have from the fundraiser, we have been able to get all of these new players into the great sport of tennis. \r\n\r\nMy athletes, many of whom did not know much about tennis prior to tryouts, were extremely excited to see the nice quality rackets and materials that they would be using this season. Even the team captains who have been playing for four years said that this was the best year of supplies they have seen during their time in high school.
