The headphones made for a more exciting and equitable learning experience when it comes time to do district laptop activities such as iReady and STmath. Before our headphones arrived some students had top of the line headphones and many others had none. This was most important for me. \r\nThe clipboards have become a staple in my kindergarten class over the last 10 years and when I moved schools to find I didn't have any I immediately had to change my instructional plans. The smiley face rug was, and still is, a beautiful addition to my classroom this year. The pastel colors immediately brightened the room but kept a calm atmosphere. I am able to call students by colored rows which is a huge help with transitions to tables and lines. \r\nWe use the rug throughout the day for many purposes. Students gather on the rug for morning meeting and almost all instruction.
