We've been using it during phonics, math, and fine-motor practice. One of my favorite moments so far was during a literacy center when students used the play dough to form uppercase and lowercase letters. It turned a simple review activity into something hands-on, engaging, and joyful. \r\nThe excitement was immediate—several students gasped, and a few even jumped up and down when they realized the play dough was for them! The sensory dinosaur bins brought a lot of fun by being a station when we were learning about erosion and traits. We used the consumable materials to engineer many different things including ramps for marbles and boats. The magnet unit was so much fun especially since everyone got their own magnet to explore with. \r\nRecently, students used tweezers to sort pom-poms into colors and create pictures with them to practice fine motor skills. They also learned about science tools and what they are used for during this lesson.
