Before receiving this shelf, Chromebooks were often stored on the baskets of chairs, tucked inside desks, and sometimes on the floor, which made our classroom feel cluttered and made it difficult to keep track of devices and chargers. Now, each Chromebook has a safe, organized home and can be kept plugged in and ready for learning.\r\nThe shelf has made a huge difference in our daily routines. Students know exactly where to find their Chromebook and where to return it when they are finished, which saves valuable instructional time and helps them take responsibility for caring for our classroom materials. It has also helped keep our Chromebooks off the floor and protected while making sure they are charged and ready to go when we need them.\r\nWhen my students first saw the new shelf, they were excited to finally have a \"Chromebook station\" in our classroom, and the ability to charge all of their devices at once! They immediately noticed how much more organized our space looked. One of the best moments has been watching students independently grab their Chromebook, get started on an assignment, and return it to its spot when they are finished without needing reminders.\r\nOur Chromebooks are an important part of our learning throughout the year. We use them for assessments, math practice, research, digital assignments, and projects. As we continue into the school year, students will be using their Chromebooks to explore new topics, practice skills, collaborate, and show what they know. Thanks to our generous donors, we now have a safe and organized system that keeps our technology ready for all of these learning opportunities!\r\nThank you for helping make our classroom a more organized, efficient, and student-friendly place to learn!","fullyFundedDate":1778004455845,"projectUrl":"project/keeping-classroom-technology-safe-and-re/10034053/","projectTitle":"Keeping Classroom Technology Safe and Ready!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pardee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10409156_orig.jpg?crop=4284,4284,x0,y714&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768523798243","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10409156"},{"teacherId":10327074,"projectId":9853048,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for my flexible seating. It has helped in the classroom. \r\n\r\nThe gray rug chairs are a great asset to the classroom. We do a student of the week every two weeks so I have been able to allow each student of the week to get a month on a chair since I got two. Students have been really excited to be able to use the seats for their learning. I let them come to the rug during lessons to use a clipboard. They have this choice instead of always sitting at their desk. When we do flexible seating around the room they also have the option to use the chair as well. \r\n\r\nThe chair strap has been great to use with children that need to move their legs. Students like to put their legs on top and bounce their legs up and down. It allows them to get some movement out and still get their work done.","fullyFundedDate":1771448348550,"projectUrl":"project/making-choices/9853048/","projectTitle":"Making Choices","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Fontaine","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10327074_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761213634206","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10327074"},{"teacherId":10327074,"projectId":9859634,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for my flexible seating. It has helped in the classroom. \r\n\r\nThe wobble seat has been very popular. We came up with a solution to ensure everyone gets a turn. We rotate the seat daily. Each day a new student is able to use it all day. Then I pull another stick for someone new to get it another day. The seat has been a great resource for students that need a movement outlet. They are being more successful completing work and using the seat to move their body. I am definitely going to ask for more in another campaign!\r\n\r\nThe padded texture bubble seats have been great too. Some of my students sit on them to be able to move. Some like to put them on their lap and rub the texture to calm their mind. I have been switching the 6 seats weekly between my 2 classes. I have received positive feedback from students about how much they love it.","fullyFundedDate":1766932186394,"projectUrl":"project/more-options/9859634/","projectTitle":"More Options","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Fontaine","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10327074_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761213634206","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10327074"},{"teacherId":2783356,"projectId":9456487,"letterContent":"I just wanted to take time to thank you again for your donation to my classroom.
