They have already made a meaningful difference in how my students learn and work together. The clipboards have made it much easier for students to move around the room and collaborate with partners or small groups without being limited to their desks. The dry erase markers have also been a big hit. Students use them with their individual whiteboards, and they are genuinely excited when they can choose a color they love. That small choice adds motivation and makes practicing skills feel more engaging.\r\n\r\nThe colored lined paper has helped bring more excitement to writing. Instead of always writing on plain white paper, students can choose from different colors, which makes writing feel a little more special, inviting, and engaging.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches allow me to create durable centers, task cards, and review materials that can be used again and again throughout the school year. This makes it possible to continually revisit previously taught skills, which is such an important part of helping students retain learning and strengthen their understanding over time.\r\n\r\nThese materials may seem simple, but they have given me more ways to make learning collaborative, engaging, and purposeful every day. Thank you for helping provide resources that support student motivation, participation, and continued academic growth.","fullyFundedDate":1787143244521,"projectUrl":"project/everyday-supplies-for-hands-on-learning/10322962/","projectTitle":"Everyday Supplies for Hands-On Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Maffuccio","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9496942_orig.png?crop=1014,1014,x0,y101&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753113239296","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/chesterelementaryschool"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_60282","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":332,"numTeachers":29,"percentFrplEligible":21,"percentAsian":7,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":73,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":6,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":50.0,"schoolId":60282,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Morris Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Morris Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/lenox-public-schools/morris-elementary-school/60282"}
