But when I told my students to go help me get the packages that came- it was like Christmas morning! The students have really been able to use and learn from such a great donation. \r\nEach morning, we start by using the materials in a morning meeting to help learn about our feelings and what to do when we have them. Each week we have been practicing a new strategy to help manage our behavior, such as belly breathing, counting, and ways we can agree and disagree with others. Each Monday, the class has been excited to learn and explore our next strategy. \r\nNot only has this donation helped my morning meeting, but has helped the classroom be more vibrant, and educational. We have been able to put our bulletin board materials on the wall and we use them as talking points for the students each day. It has helped solve many arguments and moments of frustration over the past few weeks and I'm excited to see the students grow even more due to your help.","fullyFundedDate":1735657746604,"projectUrl":"project/big-feelings-and-what-to-do-with-them/8901893/","projectTitle":"Big Feelings and What to Do With Them.","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Knight","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9812308"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_60577","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":674,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":14,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"17.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.0,"schoolId":60577,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Penn Brook Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Penn Brook Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/georgetown-school-district/penn-brook-elementary-school/60577"}
