This project has been a great resource even beyond the LEGO club. I have students during dismissal who have been able to enjoy these resources. Students have enjoyed engaging with the sets and following along with the different sets they are working on. For some students they have shown perseverance in this being their first time working with and exploring LEGOs. Having to find small pieces or making a small build to add on helps them stop and look at the picture as a whole to ensure that they are completing the build correctly. \r\nThis project has also served as a valuable social-emotional learning (SEL) tool. Within the club, I have students who are a part of the emotional impairment strand at my school. While they are present in the club, the LEGOs allow them to be focused on such a tedious task that they remain regulated. One of the students has even reported buying sets for home and working on them outside of school, and how much fun and calming it has been for him. \r\nAt the end of the club, students will be able to take one completed build home with them as a memento, a start to their LEGO collection, or a set of pieces that they will have to build and rebuild as their imagination sees fit.","fullyFundedDate":1755768729940,"projectUrl":"project/lego-club/9583393/","projectTitle":"Lego Club!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Yvonne","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8805036_orig.jpg?crop=2201,2201,x0,y410&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725643493427","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8805036"},{"teacherId":9887485,"projectId":9622738,"letterContent":"I can't thank you enough for helping me make a cozy classroom!
