Our students are inquisitive and want to know more about the world they live in. Through our curriculum, we read books about people and countries all over the world, write within different genres and for different purposes, engage with math manipulatives and learn new skills in addition to small group work customized to student needs. This learning brings up questions and resources that are more accessible through the use of technology. The donations for this project will allow my students to use technology to accomplish the skills they are learning - research their questions, use online manipulatives, type their writing, complete online intervention work, and enhance skills needed in a technology-driven society. Chromebooks provide a way for students to better engage with content and provide accessible opportunities for all students.
