The materials from this project have made such a difference in helping my students learn through play, which is such an important part of early childhood education. My students were so excited to see the new materials and immediately wanted to explore, create, and play together. We have been able to use them throughout our classroom routines, centers, small-group activities, and free-play time to support communication, problem-solving, fine motor skills, social-emotional development, and early academic skills.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest impacts has been seeing my students become more engaged and independent during play. In an integrated preschool classroom, every child comes in with different strengths and needs, so having a variety of hands-on materials allows me to meet students where they are while still giving them opportunities to learn alongside their peers. The materials have also encouraged sharing, turn-taking, conversation, imagination, and friendship skills.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using these resources throughout the school year as we build on new themes and skills. Your generosity gave my students more opportunities to learn in a way that is meaningful, developmentally appropriate, and fun.
