Sometimes it is difficult for students to express or explain themselves using English since it is their second language. Since I have the translators students can write their answers in their native languages and I can easily translate to English. When students have a hard time undertsanding one of the questions on an assignment that is on paper I can easily translate it for them with the translator and I can translate what they are saying if the words are hard to translate to English.\r\n\r\nThis is better than Google Translate becasue I can easily take a picture of the document and it translates it. It is portable smaller than a cellphone and it has multiple languages. One of the languauges that was difficult for other translators was Haitian Creole, but this device has the ability to translate it.\r\n\r\nSince it is the first semester I have only had one sheltered English Language Learners class, but I will have another class next Semester. I have allowed the ESOL teachers to try the device as well to help them with students and to see if this would be a useful tool for them.","fullyFundedDate":1721708115822,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-my-english-language-learners/8292167/","projectTitle":"Supporting my English Language Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. K.
