The students were very excited to see the addition of the new drums and were very eager to give them a try. So far this year we have been learning about best, steady beat, and meter and the drums are always the first instruments chosen to assist with the lessons. \r\n\r\n During one lesson in my 3rd grade classes the students had to improvise a rhythm while the rest of the class played a backing beat on the rhythm sticks. They love having the new stools so we can combine groups at times and everyone has a place to sit without going to another classroom to borrow a chair. The new bins of materials with all the new markers, crayons, pencils, and colored pencils get used every time we meet.\r\n\r\nThe additional, new Legos have students who have never engaged with Legos commenting about how much fun they are having making flower pots and giraffes with shapes and blocks they have never seen.\r\n\r\nAll of their enjoyment is thanks to your donation!","fullyFundedDate":1724259839067,"projectUrl":"project/talent-and-gifted-instructional-material/8670237/","projectTitle":"Talent and Gifted Instructional Materials Refresh","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Z.
