Initially, my project was written to promote biliteracy through the use of big books. but unfortunately the items I selected were no longer available. I shifted from big books to audio books. \r\n\r\nMy students LOVE the audio books. I love the audio books. This new project not only develops reading for my students, it also strengthens their listening. I was so proud with how well my students stayed focused and followed along with the story as they listed to the audio. \r\n\r\nMy goal is to create independent station material for students to complete after reading and listening to the books.
