We are using them daily during our investigative units (wireless speakers, albino squirrels, mystery fossil, etc.), where students analyze evidence, make claims, and support their thinking with scientific reasoning to better understand natural phenomenons. One memorable moment was during a small-group investigation when students used the materials to compare fossil evidence and debate which organism our mystery fossil was most closely related to. The level of discussion, collaboration, and confidence I saw from my students was incredible—they were truly thinking and working like scientists.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were so excited. They immediately wanted to explore them, ask questions, and put them to use. Several students even commented that it felt like a \"real science lab,\" which was especially meaningful for students who don't often get hands-on learning opportunities.
