I then gave each of them a Kwik Stix to practice using. \r\n Upon receiving the Kwik Stix, students immediately started painting. There was no apprehension from the students who were tactile intolerant. Everyone participated - there were no apprehensions or refusals. They experimented with painting shapes, lines, and color mixing using the paint sticks. After experimenting, they used the Kwik Stix to paint a giant leaf and pumpkin to celebrate the Autumn season. \r\n This experience enabled every student to engage in color theory and helped them to understand the importance of primary colors. Your generosity enabled all of my PreK and K students to joyfully engage in the creative and discovery process of color theory.
