The students and I are very grateful for your support. It was a major relief for many of the students who do not have the means to shop for their supplies to have them provided for them. They were able to focus on learning and were not embarrassed because they could not afford the materials. \r\n\r\nStudents used the supplies in many ways, however the bulk of the supplies were used to create and maintain interactive notebooks. Students used the composition books, pencils, colored pencils, and minitabs to create, organize and complete notes and assignments in their notebooks. They were able to use the notebooks as a resource and one stop shop to reference and as they completed writing, speaking, and listening activities. Other supplies like the dry erase markers were used by the students to participate in games and using the classroom dry erase boards. The index cards were also used to create vocabulary cards and question and answer activities. \r\n\r\nFinally, the other supplies were used to create a comfortable classroom with minimized distractions. The phone holder was utilized to house students phones and lesson the temptation of using them when they should be focused on their tasks. The students were able to utilize the materials in many different ways to support their learning using comprehensible input strategies. \r\n\r\nStudents used the index cards to create flash cards, question cards and play vocabulary and other learning based games. The bins were used to store their notebooks, cards, and other classroom materials for student and teacher ease of use.
