I feel like I really accomplished this, but having the carpet really made the space feel like a real classroom. I am happy to say that my room is safe, it is colorful, but most of all it is welcoming. I love that my students like to visit during odd times during the day or before school. They see the band room as a safe place for them to come and visit, or take a moment to chat with their teacher or a friend. As a teacher, that is the optimal environment for my students. I was so happy to have as many students as I could and that technology wasn't an issue.
