With all the supplies requested students will be able to use things other than pens and paper to help increase learning. The white boards will help in guided reading groups when doing word work. Students will be introduced to a sense of excitement when using the white boards instead of continuously using paper. The white boards will also be used for other subject areas such as math. These supplies will help students understand the importance of organization and structure within the classroom. The bins for each table will help with this effort as well. Classroom management is a major component in students success. without structure and organization students success may be affected negatively. Other items, such as composition books, will help students with their writing skills and spelling homework. Weekly students have to complete writing assignments that help with penmanship and spelling practice. The writing strips will help to post and label different activities that are completed within the classroom.
