This year I have become responsible for leading the Morning Announcements with a team of students. The students are in 4th and 5th grade. There are many things that students must recite and read on the announcements and then our hope is to transition to a more virtual platform. \r\n\r\nAs a result of receiving funding for this project, our students have been able to seamlessly transition through multiple sections of our morning announcements show through the use of the iPad which displays a slide deck that houses all of the different segments of our morning announcements. This one item alone has been a game changer in our process. Our morning announcement crew is calm and collected as they move through each part of the show with the iPad displaying our \"blueprint\". They are even able to run the show independently and have shown remarkable responsibility with guarding the passcode to the iPad as well as ensuring it is charged and kept in its protective case at all times.\r\n\r\nIt is our hope before the end of the school year to launch our live morning announcement show that will be seen by everyone at school.
