These materials have truly helped our middle school library start the year with a bang! \r\n\r\nFirst, the bins have helped us to organize the many different craft materials that we use throughout the year. This organization will ensure that we are using the materials efficiently and that students have options when it comes to participating in our makerspace activities. I love that the bins have open and closed storage to ensure that I can maximize the use of them either on shelves or when we are working on a project together in the library!\r\n\r\nNext, I cannot tell you how much the 8th grade students enjoyed the magnetic building blocks! We used the new whiteboard and the building blocks in our library orientation lesson and the kids were so creative! I have a few pictures to share showing them in action with the blocks. These blocks were a fun way to encourage them to work together and use their creativity to earn a prize! The kids have been asking to use them again, so that is always a great sign!\r\n\r\nLastly, the magnatiles were also a big hit! When a few students noticed the new pack, they could not wait to create a tall tower! I tried to get a picture of that too!
