It has really helped me hit the ground running with my kiddos. The kindness of everyone who donated really touched me as I was not expecting my project to be funded so quickly. \r\n\r\nThe kids have very much enjoyed the games most of all. The younger kids really like the Creatures Full of Feelings game as there are several games that can be played so they ask to play all the time. They have been able to open up about their emotional experiences and feel safe doing so while playing this game. The Anxiety Thumball has been really useful with my more hyperactive kids because it allows us to talk about their anxiety while also being physically active. And of course they all love the Kinetic sand and sensory bottles, because let's be honest - who doesn't. I have found a lot of uses for the Kinetic sand with all types of problems kids are having and it easily transitions from creative play to therapeutic play.\r\n\r\nI appreciate the donations immensely!","fullyFundedDate":1726686698323,"projectUrl":"project/feel-process-grow/8706974/","projectTitle":"Feel - Process - Grow!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jamie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9708775_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725903932731","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9708775"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_64207","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":757,"numTeachers":41,"percentFrplEligible":71,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":28,"percentWhite":22,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":37,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"18.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":76.9,"schoolId":64207,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Dundalk Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Dundalk Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maryland/baltimore-county-public-schools/dundalk-elementary-school/64207"}
