Because of you, our students are finally beginning to bring our greenhouse garden beds to life as the weather has started to warm up here in Baltimore.\r\n\r\nRight now, students are using the new materials to plan and set up their garden plots. In class, they worked in teams to design their own small garden beds, choosing what crops to grow and deciding how to arrange them for the best sunlight and space. One special moment was when a group of students carefully measured and mapped out their plot, debating where each plant should go—it was amazing to see them applying science concepts like spacing, sunlight needs, and sustainability in a real-world way.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were excited and curious. Many of them immediately started asking, \"Are we really going to grow our own food?\" and \"Can we take care of this every day?\" Their enthusiasm turned into ownership—they now see this project as their garden, not just a class activity.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, the next steps include planting seeds, monitoring plant growth, and collecting data on how environmental factors like sunlight and water affect their plants. Students will also connect this hands-on experience to our environmental science lessons by exploring sustainability, food systems, and how local gardening can support communities.\r\n\r\nYour support is helping turn learning into something real, meaningful, and lasting for our students. My students and I are forever grateful. Having the camera cases have been monumental for us in that is is easy to store and protect our camera as we move around the school and the community.\r\n\r\nDue to the generous donation of these cases we were able to expand our growing Media Team. They have expanded to photographing sporting events, our school's prom, our annual spring carnival (429 Day), and other school wide events simply from having a proper case to protect the cameras. \r\n\r\nMy traditional photography students enjoy the ease of storing their camera into the cabinet. When we travel out onto the school's grounds/ campus, students often carry their camera bag with them, though they are not required to. Many students love having the extra protection for the cameras as opposed to just carrying the cameras around their necks.\r\n\r\nOnce again, on behalf of the Vivien T.
