I wanted my students to create online portfolios that would grow with every piece of art they made during their three years in middle school. I envisioned it being an online document where students could post quality photos of their artwork with recorded artist statements. There was just one problem, I didn't have the money in my budget to purchase document cameras for my classroom. And that's where you all came in. \r\n\r\nThrough Donors Choose and your support, I acquired enough document cameras to make my crazy idea a reality. Once I taught my students how to use the document cameras, they were off and running! It's been wonderful to see my students embrace the online portfolios and it's fun to talk with them about how cool it will be at the end of their three years with me to look back at everything they've created.
