For the practicum module, I chose to incorporate mindfulness, social-emotional learning, or yoga as a settle-in activity before commencing class to support students with self-regulating their emotions, learning behaviors, and focus. \r\n Phase one commenced in May-June 2025, which included administering a pre- and mid-survey and classroom observations. Initial data shows that students who participated over the course of the four-week research had a reduction in common off-task/behavioral dysregulation with an increase in pro-social behaviors.
