My fifth graders have been using our flexible seating options daily! As with any new classroom routine, students were very eager to start using our new seating options and had to show some patience as we rolled out new expectations. Three months later, our flexible seating is a regular part of our routine and the students are doing great!\r\n Whether it's during independent, partner, or group work, students love the opportunity to move and find a different seat aside from their desks. I'll find students using the Chromebooks on the surf desks, clipboards and paper on the stadium seats, or at the front table with a stool. \r\n I am so incredibly lucky to teach such a great group of kids each and everyday.
