They have loved using the variety of tops supplied by your funding and are learning a lot about momentum, balance, velocity and the transfer of energy. \r\n\r\nThe students were overjoyed to get to have a whole class day to explore and experiment with all the new tops prior to starting the unit, and have actually been utilized in other grade levels as reward centers after projects are completed. \r\n\r\nStudents are in their last week prior to Winter Break, but will be building and creating their own tops to show their understanding about balance and the transfer of energy. Students will compete to determine whose top can spin for the longest amount of time. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your donation to the project.
