I had been supplying snacks for my students all year long. I keep a snack basket in my classroom for students who forget to bring a snack and for students who are feeling extra hungry. With the rising cost of food and the fact that I am a single parent with a fixed income, I could not keep buying snacks. I decided to do a donors choose project asking for snacks and honestly didn't think it would be filled. I was completely in awe when I received an email stating my project had been filled! \r\n\r\nMy students were beyond thrilled and so thankful upon seeing the boxes of snacks being delivered to our classroom! They couldn't believe that strangers had sent them snacks out of the kindness of their hearts! It made for a good learning lesson of how there are good people out there in this world and how random acts of kindness can brighten someone's day!\r\n\r\nAgain, I thank you so much!!
