This makes me, as a classroom teacher, caught in the middle between having to purchase my basic supplies or humbly asking for assistance. \r\n\r\nFortunately, there are people like you who are able to donate and help educators out. Asking for the basics is not flashy, nor exciting, true. However, they are essential to allowing students to learn and work within a basic framework. Its just unfortunate that many of us have to seek outside assistance to gather these materials.\r\n\r\nTherefore, it truly is with gratitude and deep appreciation I humbly thank you for your assistance with my project. These materials will be used and made to last as long as possible. It really is one less stressor as an educator! My students may not fully appreciate the magnitude of these donations, but I certainly do! Again, my heartfelt thanks for your assistance.","fullyFundedDate":1743112084985,"projectUrl":"project/simple-basic-essentials-for-a-classroo/9181966/","projectTitle":"Simple, Basic, Essentials for a Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Praschak","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1993189"},{"teacherId":3037896,"projectId":9008781,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping our classroom! Because of your generosity we were able to purchase some taller desks chairs for my classroom. Students were so excited when they entered the classroom. \r\nI strive to make math fun and exciting for kids to learn. Middle school students truly benefit from movement and become more engaged in the learning process when they can engage multiple senses. Often I incorporate activities, games and group problem solving into their daily work. Having desks and chairs that allow students the freedom to move around is so beneficial. They can sit, stand and easily move to see other group's work. Kids are able to more easily sort cards, and use the game manipulatives. Often they will move around their own groups to view the task from another's view point. \r\nThey were so excited to learn that we were getting this furniture. Some of their responses were, \"this is awesome!\", \"Finally, there'll be enough of the cool seats so I can have one too!\" and \"I love the taller desks and chairs, they are so much more comfortable than those hard plastic ones.\"\r\nI want to thank you again for your generosity in helping make the classroom environment so much more inviting and comfortable.
