We are a small school in Northern Maine. My students come from mostly low income families. I purchase many needed items for them during the year such as, mittens, hats, and snacks. Joining Donors Choose and receiving this project has meant so much to myself and my students. Your donation ensures that they be able to have snack everyday until the end of the year!\r\n\r\nIn my project, I also asked for educational games. My students have really enjoyed the ones we have played so far. They are improving their critical thinking skills with the Guess in 10 games. This is a game where they get 10 questions to ask, getting yes or no answers to figure out the secret word. They are also enjoying Scrabble Jr, Roll A Sentence, Trouble, and Bananagram Jr. Their favorite game on a frigid inside recess day is Twister!! It gets all that energy out and gets them giggling!
