Because of you, our students now have access to a 3D printer that has completely transformed the way they learn, create, and imagine.\r\n\r\nWhen the printer arrived, the excitement was immediate. Students gathered around as we set it up, asking thoughtful questions and eagerly brainstorming what they could design. For many of them, this was their very first experience with 3D printing or advanced technology of any kind.\r\n\r\nWith this 3D printer, students are now able to turn their ideas into real, tangible objects. They are designing models, problem-solving through trial and error, and learning that mistakes are an important part of the creative process. The printer has strengthened skills like critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and perseverance—all while making learning feel fun and meaningful.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this project has helped students see themselves as inventors and engineers. They are proud of their work and excited to come to class each day to see their designs come to life. Your generosity has shown them that people beyond their classroom believe in their potential and want to invest in their future.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this opportunity possible. Your kindness has made a lasting impact on our students and will continue to inspire learning for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1762267674191,"projectUrl":"project/little-inventors-bringing-ideas-to-lif/9853958/","projectTitle":"\"Little Inventors: Bringing Ideas to Life with 3D Printing!\"","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Mowry","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7961999_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1631986920003","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7961999"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_65370","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":76,"numTeachers":16,"percentFrplEligible":46,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"4.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":60.7,"schoolId":65370,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Peninsula School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Peninsula School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maine/rsu-24/pennisula-school/65370"}
