The vibrancy and depth of the subject matter are appealing to every kid - these books literally have something for everyone to muse over. Our students love DEAR time - (Drop Everything and Read) especially when it is their turn to choose from the \"Wall of Wonder.\"\r\n\r\nWe use our non-fiction library to support everything from research projects to descriptive writing - curiosity digs and scavenger hunts. These books are also excellent for reluctant readers who find it difficult to engage in fictional stories. Many of my students who are \"tinkerers and builders\" are fascinated by the books about technology, transportation, and the sciences.
