When the project was fulfilled, the shelves I chose were no longer available so I had to choose different items other than what was planned. The storage shelves I did receive allowed me to store my teaching supplies away from the students and allow the sturdy, safe shelves I was using for my teaching supplies to be used for our classroom library. The students have been enjoying making their CVC words with the interactive blocks. They said they had so much more fun learning to read and spell the words using the blocks before writing them. The book about emotions have helped my students understand what it means to feel angry and how to move away from that feeling in a safe, productive way.\r\nThank you again for your donation to my classroom. I started this project so my students could have access to good quality headphones that they can use during their learning. On the surface, giving students access to headphones may seem counter-productive to the learning process, but the reality nowadays is that headphones, if used correctly, can play a huge part. My students have varying degrees of abilities and strengths. We use different programs on the computer in addition to the traditional way of learning. Headphones make it possible for my students to access those online programs without having any outside noise to distract them. Similarly, some students have in their IEPs that the need to have access to headphones while they do their work.\r\n\r\nOverall with your donation, has provided all of these things to my students. Additionally, the headphones have not just been used by the students I see personally. Other students have asked me to use them and I have been glad to help. There is also the fact that having something new feels good, and they have taken ownership over the headphones and have taken very good care of them. \r\n\r\nThank you all very much for your help and your donation.
